Choosing to spend our time in other areas rather than getting to know God can reduce the number of our days
Scripture: Proverbs 9:7-9 Proverbs 9:7-9 says, “He who reproves a scoffer gets shame for himself, And he who rebukes a wicked man gets himself a blemish. Do not reprove a scoffer, lest he hate you; Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you. Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; Teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.” If we set our heart to get to know God, we not only live longer but we enjoy a much more productive existence. On the other hand, those who scoff or who simply withdraw from God find themselves in a place of stagnation where protection is either diminishing or the potential for judgment increasing. Choosing to spend our time in other areas than getting to know God can reduce the number of our days and bring us into trial and great tribulation.
