Genesis 32:24-32
The Holy Spirit has not ceased working. One event after another, one thing after another, comes to us. Each disciplinary working of the Holy Spirit has but one purpose: to break our selfish tendencies so that our inward spirit man may come through. Yet here is our difficulty: we fret over trifles, we murmur at small losses. The Lord is preparing a way to use us, yet scarcely has His hand touched us when we feel unhappy, even to the extent of quarreling with God and becoming negative in our attitude. Since being saved, we have been touched many times in various ways by the Lord, all with the purpose of breaking outer shell. Whether we are conscious of it or not, the aim of the Lord is to crucify this outward man. Pray Galatians 2:20, fervently.
- Bless, thank and praise God for his love, mercy and goodness in your life. Psalm 103:1-14.
- Thank Him for leading you into your place of destiny and for keeping you focused despite the challenges.
- Ask the Lord in his mercy to provide atonement and subdue the iniquities that are prevailing and speaking against you based on the finished work of Jesus on the cross of Calvary. Psalm 65:3, Micah 7:18-20.
- Submit yourself to the Lord and ask him to purge and prune you to bear more fruit based on his word. John 15:1-3.
