Scripture: Acts 4:27-31, 2 Timothy 1
In Acts 4:27-31 we are told, “For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done. Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.’ And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.” Here they asked for three different manifestations of judgment against their demon-inspired leaders. First they asked for boldness. Number two, for God to extend His Hand to heal, and number three, they asked for signs and wonders. When we study signs and wonders we are led directly to the judgments of Egypt. 2 Timothy 1 makes it clear that we are going to face the same demonic opposition as Moses and that we will have to overcome it the same way. This is precisely what the early church was doing in the book of Acts. They were overcoming the demonic- dunamis in the same way that Moses did. Let us meditate on the Word and discover the prayers God’s people prayed. When the Holy Spirit pushes us forward in exousia, let us not hesitate at all to boldly pray!
- Ask the Lord to teach your hands to war and your fingers to do battle on behalf of your family, the church, nation, and continent. Ps 144:1•Ask the Lord to equip you and His Ecclesia with skills, technology, and weapons for effective warfare as he did for David. 2 Sam 5:19-25; 1 Ch 14:10-17•
- Pray that the Lord will make you a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth to thresh all mountains (everything formidable, insurmountable challenge, everything that makes itself greater than the Lord, confrontations, etc.,) and beat them small. Isa 41:15-16•
- Ask the Lord to make you His battle axes and weapons of war to deal with the plan and agenda of the kingdom of darkness and all battles of the enemy against the saints of God. Jer 51:20-24
- As the Ramadan season begins, it is important as a kingdom citizen to pray with understanding.
- There is heightened spiritual activity all over the world as the Ramadan season commences. This season is important for kingdom citizens thus the enemy ensures that he will prepare a counterfeit new beginning which will usher in the opposite of everything Jehovah has in store for kingdom citizens worldwide.
- As you gain this knowledge, pray into the womb of Ramadan season, and reclaim your blessing, destiny and everything that is meant for you from Jehovah. Remember to pray through the midnight and midday watches during these days.
