Scripture: First Samuel 2:15-18

Verses 16 through 18 state, “And if the man said to him, ‘They should really burn the fat
first; then you may take as much as your heart desires,’ He would then answer him, ‘No, but
you must give it to me now; and if not, I will take it by force.’ Therefore the sin of the young
men was very great before the LORD, for men abhorred the offering of the LORD. But
Samuel ministered before the LORD, even as a child, wearing a linen ephod.” God’s hand
was not against the enemies of Israel all the days of Eli because of the sin of the priesthood.
Is it not a reasonable speculation that all the days of the last generational priesthood the hand
of the Lord, in our nations, has not been for the church but rather against it. We have lost our
freedom to pray in school. We have lost our freedom to pray at commencement services.?
Where is the hand of the Lord against the enemy who is trying to steal, pervert and destroy
the Christian heritage of a nation? During a kairos of favor, if God offers to restore the mish-
pawt of the Lord, what will we do? How will we conduct ourselves? Where is the hand of the
Lord against the enemy of the church?
