Scripture: Psalm 143:3-9
In verses 3 through 9 David begins to recount all the evil that the enemy has done, not only to
him but to his people and to the nation. David says in verses 8 and 9, “Cause me to hear Your
loving-kindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I
should walk, For I lift up my soul to You. Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies; In You I
take shelter.” David is covenantally taking a stand before God.
PRAYER
God, You are able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to us in
abundance so that we may always, and under all circumstances and whatever the need, be
self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance
for every good work and charitable donation].
