Read-John 12:25-26.
Observation: – This is the basic problem. The Lord wants to break our carnal man in order that the spirit man may have a way out. When the spirit man is released, both unbelievers and Christians will be blessed. The Lord Jesus tells us in John 12, \”Except the grain of wheat falling into the ground die, it abides alone; but if it die, it bears much fruit.\” Life is in the grain of wheat, but there is a shell, a very hard shell on the outside. As long as that shell is not split open, the wheat cannot grow. \”Except the grain of wheat falling into the ground die . . .\” What is this death? It is the cracking open of the shell through the working together of temperature, humidity, etc., in the soil. Once the shell is split open, the wheat begins to grow. So the question here is not whether there is life within, but whether the outside shell is cracked open.
Application
There is great potential within us as the church. In Him dwelt the Godhead bodily but He is not able to come out though our eyes, hands, and feet.
Prayer
Pray that the Lord will be gracious to you to allow a new understanding of how to stand before him and be useful.
- Pray concerning the continued bloodshed in Nigeria which has been having internal security challenges.
- Pray that the Lord return Nigeria to her place of inheritance, and the Jubilee promise in Isaiah 60:18.
- Pray that indeed the man of violence will encounter the Lord during this month and should they reject repentance, the Lord will judge them.
- By your proclamations, shape your days. Speak into the womb of this month and carry out the creation process again. Speak and declare \”Let there be light, let there be life, Let there be peace, let there be favor, health, clear communication of the Lord\’s will, understanding, wisdom, etc etc\” in each day of the month. Speak into every key event taking place with regard to your family, Ekklesia, and territory at large declaring the purposes of the Lord for it (Psalm 75, 118, 121, Isa 51:16).
