The cross thattransforms us from being self-focused to being God-focused:
Genesis 37:23-24
Genesis 37:23-24 states, “So it came to pass, when Joseph had come to his brothers, that they stripped Joseph of his tunic, the tunic of many colors that was on him. Then they took him and cast him into a pit. And the pit was empty; there was no water in it.” Suddenly the favorite son with all of his dreams found himself rejected and cast out. How many world changers have ended in a pit or prison? The coatthat made him stand apart from his brothers was stripped from him and he was thrown into a pit into captivity, where hewould die if not rescued. His favor and status radically changed. Suddenly Joseph was introduced to the cross thattransforms man from being self-focused to being God-focused. God chooses a customized path for every one of us toattain transformation-some longer than others. May we all find the grace of God to walk the path!
