Scripture: 1 Peter 5:6-11
e are told to humble ourselves under the mighty Hand of God that W He may exalt us. The Greek word for mighty is krataios showing us dominion can only flow through the humble. The character test for dominion is humility. As we walk in humility, as we choose the humility of obeying God\’s Word, then the Lord can trust us with His dominion. Humility is absolutely essential in order to walk in dominion. God promises to exalt those who humble themselves under His mighty Hand. We are to be sober and alert! Our enemy the devil like a roaring lion is on the prowl, looking for someone to devour. The proud, haughty, and arrogant can be devoured. The humble cannot. As we humble ourselves to do God\’s will, He rewards us with dominion! As we walk in humility, as we choose the obedience and humility of obeying God\’s Word, then the Lord can trust us with His dominion. Humility is absolutely essential for the high calling of the last days.
