A mark of consecration for Priesthood is demonstrated by a decision of quality.
Scripture: Exodus 19:9-10
In verses 9 and 10 God begins to outline the price to walk out the covenant of priesthood. He
says it is going to start with the process of sanctification from the Hebrew word kaw-bash.
This is the process by which we are removed from the secular and wholly given to God’s
purpose. The sanctifying process had to start with a choice of consecration. The first test was
the test of choice. Were the people willing to pay the covenantal price that went with the
priesthood? They were going to be tested by choice. It was inevitable. Consecration was
always marked by a decision of quality. A mark of consecration is demonstrated by a
decision of quality. How many do we have in the Body of Christ who really want the power
of the priesthood but have never really made the consecration necessary to pay the
preparational price?
Prayer: Dust gathers easily when things are not moving. Not having a revelation of His
Kingdom invading our lives now is like putting ourselves into a spiritual bookshelf to gather
dust (picture in your mind). Another picture is that swamps are swamps because of stagnant
water. But Jesus said if we believe, out of our bellies will flow rivers of living water. This is
the inheritance call of all the believers. Pray that your life will not be spiritually stagnated.
