The issue of preparing ourselves to endure is the issue of establishing a relationship with God that allows us to draw upon the same level of anointing.

Scripture: John 8:57-59

Once again, we see God has a very special anointing that will carry us through. Jesus moved in that stream and at the height of His rhetorical debate with the religious crowd in John 8 Jesus said, “Most assuredly I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” All the Jews knew what He was saying. To them that statement was blasphemy because He identified Himself with God. So the end of the matter was “…Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them…” thus avoiding prison and jail for a season in order to finish His race and complete the work. The issue of preparing ourselves to endure is the issue of establishing a relationship with God that allows us to draw upon the same level of anointing for the same reason – that is to simply finish what God called us to do.
