The reason why authority is given to every mature, prepared believer.
Scripture John 20:19-23
In John 20:19-23 says, “Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the
doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood
in the midst, and said to them, ‘Peace be with you.’ When He had said this, He showed them His
hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. So Jesus said to them
again, ‘Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.’ And when He had said this,
He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any,
they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.’” The foundation for that
is the retaining of sin. In the retaining of sin, we maintain our authority to execute the judicial
anointing of Christ which has the potential for salvation. That is one of the reasons why authority
is given to every mature, prepared believer. God doesn’t leave us on our own in assigning us
authority. He gives us the Holy Spirit to lead us in taking appropriate action. If we are going to
move in this realm, we better really develop our relationship with the Holy Spirit. His leading is
absolutely essential in guiding us to apply judicial authority. We won’t be able to walk
confidently in the last days without it. The Bible is very clear on this! The question is, are we
willing to grow into this? Walking in the freedom of our redemption and forgiveness is an
important part of it! It will bring us into the maturity to hear the Father and in obedience to
represent Him. In Revelation 11:6 all the witnesses pray affliction Re 11:6 These have power to
shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn
them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
Pray to break the power of Bloodline and Seedline iniquity.
Blood line & seed line iniquity enables the enemy to negatively influence our lives. What is in
my DNA waiting to be triggered and switched on? Does my DNA explain why I have a
predisposition to certain patterns of behaviour like anger, restlessness, or depression? Why am I
drawn to certain things or leaning in certain direction?

The only way that ALL men will know that Jesus is Lord, sent from God, and that we are
His disciples is if we have love for one another. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you a
revelation of how to begin to operate in unity with the rest of Christ’s body. Start with
yourself because a man who has friends must shew himself friendly first.
Pray that God will give you the grace to stretch out a hand of fellowship to those whom
you had hitherto cut off fellowship.
Pray for unity of the body of Christ. God is no longer using lone champions to do His
purposes. God must use a united church to change the world. Each part of the body must
do their bit and they are indispensable. He will use any means necessary to bring about
this unity. Ask God to help you be yielded. Ask God to help church leaders to be yielded
toward unity of the body.
It is through a balanced understanding of the Holy Spirit that the church will stand united.
Is it not the lack of understanding of the Holy Trinity that breeds divisions, and party
spirit in the body? Repent for ignorance of the united power of the Father, Son and Holy
Spirit which has brought a lot of damage to the body.
As you gain understanding of the power and value of each part of the Holy Trinity, your
spiritual foundation is strengthened. Ask the Lord to increase understanding of the
Trinity. Starting with yourself, ask Him to show the church areas where we have
downplayed one part of the Holy Trinity and given prominence to others. e.g, some
disregard the power, importance and role of the Holy Spirit, others disregard the Father,
and others disregard Jesus Christ.
