Persevere Into the Full Measure Of Freedom Scripture:
Romans 5:9-11
“Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through
Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son,
much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also
rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the
reconciliation.” Isn’t it interesting that the fruit of remission is reconciliation and a maturing
relationship with the Father? The fruit of that relationship is walking worthy which establishes
peace with God, then nothing is impossible to us! Again, this is something that takes time. May
God, help us walk the pattern and surrender to the process! The key word in all of this is
persevere! If we persevere, we will grow into the full measure of freedom needed in all God has
ordained for us. Do we have peace with God? If not, we need to be serious about getting back on
the growth path so that it can develop. Freedom and peace are already bought and paid for but
we must willingly submit to the process and persevere! God is working His will in us to do His
good pleasure!
Generational sins are weaknesses or tendencies that are handed down to us through the
generations from parents or members of our family. These sins can involve behavioral patterns
and ways of thinking that keep us trapped in the past. For example, short-cuts produce their own
problems as Abraham discovered with Sarah languishing in Pharaoh\’s tent. In Genesis 26 Isaac
told the men of Gerar that his wife, Rebekah, was his sister. Jacob and Rebeka deceived Isaac.
Pray and dig yourself from the following frequent family patterns even though you may be
a christian.
unforgiveness, lying, bitterness, fear, worry, judgment, resentment, pride, rejection, envy,
jealousy, anger, abuse, covetousness, doubt, unbelief, rebellion, drunkenness, manipulation,
greed, lust, idolatry, fornication, adultery, hatred, molestation, incest and revenge
