Tongues Establishes Christ In Us, And As A Result Of That, We Carry A Plumbline
That God Can Establish Through Us
Scripture: Isaiah 28:17
Verse 17 says, “Also I will make justice the measuring line, And righteousness the plummet
(plumb-line); The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, And the waters will overflow the
hiding place.” When we pray in the Spirit, God establishes a judicial plumb-line. He
establishes a plumb-line of righteousness, both in our own lives and everywhere He chooses to
bring that plumb-line out of us. Once it is established in us, He can drop it wherever He
chooses in our life. Tongues establishes Christ in us, and as a result of that, we carry a
plumb-line that God can establish through us.
`Reflection; Praying in tongues is so important because it is a significant way God will
establish His plumb-line inside of us.
