- Pray that the Lord will send His Spirit to brood over every activity during the 8 days of the festival. As He visits the observers of the season, may they receive a revelation of Jesus Christ the Light of the World Who has already paid the price for their redemption and salvation. Joh 8.12.
- According to Roman mythology Jupiter is the supreme god of the Roman pantheon, called Dies Pater, \’shining father\’. He is a god of light and sky, and protector of the state of Rome. This month those who are in the New Age and occult exalt this god and draw light from him. This is a counterfeit.
- The Hanukkah is the Festival of Lights which was a foreshadow of Jesus Christ the Light of the World. Pray that as the heavens declare the glory of the Lord this season, those who are in darkness and do not understand that Jesus Chris is the true Light, will receive a revelation of Him during this season.
