- Ask the Lord to close the gates of the past year and the past season. Ask that the Lord will seal and cause a closure on any area of your life where there is exposure and a lack of closure.
- Pray that any loss that continues to haunt you; like death of loved ones, loss of property, possession or position, loss of face or relationships, ask for the opportunity for closure so that you can enter the new year on a clean slate.
- Where there is lack of closure for your family, community or nation in any area; ask that the Lord will bring closure with regard to every area of life. Where there has been strife, and unfinished business, issues pertaining to land, closure where there has been a scattering of people and possessions. Ask that the Lord will gather the people into their place of inheritance.
