Scripture: Isaiah 6:1-3

In Isaiah 6:1-3 Isaiah has a season where he is introduced to the overwhelming outpouring of God’s Presence and it was in the year that King Uzziah died. “In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one cried to another and said: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!’” In this study we have discovered what happens when the glory of the Lord is in manifestation. The two dimensions of God begin to come upon man and start to interact with us. His mercy and His judgment. Moses was able to successfully present God as both priest and king, lamb, and lion. The question is, if we are coming to a season like that again will we be prepared to represent all of Whom Christ is? The purpose of both mercy and judgment is for an end-time harvest. If we want to be prepared, then our number one issue is to build the relationship that the Sonship Gifts make possible! When the glory of the Lord comes, the church will have to swing into action in a whole different dimension. Only He knows the times and seasons. But suddenly, the church will have to be prepared to fully represent Christ as both Savior and Judge! Are we ready for that right now? The church as a whole is not. Religious tradition has ignored an important part of who God is. Let us move out of religious tradition and begin to teach others to do the same! An essential part is to build into us the fullness of the Sonship Gifts so that we are totally equipped to represent the fullness of God! The book of Ephesians outlines how to step into who God made us to be and begin to walk it out. It is an issue of our Biblical identity and our relationship with God. It is a growth process and it is necessary that we build it into our lives one brick at a time! If we are going to manifest God’s glory, we must grow into it. And God has committed that He will cover the earth pouring out His glory as the waters cover the sea! That is coming. You cannot get away from it and you can’t run from it! Do we want to represent Him and walk in His glory? The key is to prepare for it!

  • Pray that those whose daily life activities has not been clearly defined by righteousness will immediately repent, correct and align their ways to the righteous standards of God’s word. (Acts 3:19; 1 Pet 4:17)
  • Pray that the Body of Christ will recognize that, without the Holy Spirit no man can accomplish God’s righteous purpose.
  • Pray that these days, as kingdom citizens recognize and acknowledge that they are mere men, many will yearn for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit and submit to His guidance in the increasingly dark world (John 16:5-16).
  • Ask the Lord, to position you as a righteous man for impact and influence, so you will positively influence where fallen men have brought destruction; in all creation every where God has allowed you to be. (Matt 28:18-20)
