Scripture: Matthew 24:3-6
When we look at what Jesus said in Matthew 24:2 coupled with His declarations in Luke
19:42-44, it is no wonder the disciples in Matthew 24:3 begin to question the Lord as to when
all this will happen. Jesus begins to answer and describe the end-time scenario the Church

will face. He says deception will run rampant, many will come
claiming to represent Him, and deception will be great in the Church. This is one ( SEE PIX)
example in Kenya of people dying and buried secretly by a so called Church this last week in
April. He also says we will hear of wars and rumours of wars, but not to be troubled because
these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. The declaration about the destruction
of what was common religious activity was really more than the disciples could take. They
were not ready for a transition having that measure of depth and magnitude; possibly
realizing it would catapult them from the region and they would have to go out into other
nations. We must be ready to move to witness for him among the nations and the nook
and crannies of our mega cities.
===== PRAYER====
I honour God and bring glory to Him in my body (Gal. 3:13; Matt. 8:17; 1 Pet.
2:24; 1 Cor. 6:20). I have the mind of Christ and hold the thoughts, feelings, and
purposes of His heart (1 Cor. 2:16). I am a believer and not a doubter. I hold fast
to my confession of faith. I decide to walk by faith and practice faith. My faith
comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Jesus is the author and the
developer of my faith (Heb. 4:14; Heb. 11:6; Rom. 10:17; Heb. 12:2).
The Holy Spirit has shed the love of God abroad in my heart, and His love abides
in me richly. I keep myself in the Kingdom of light, in love, in the Word; and the
wicked one touches me not (Rom. 5:5; 1 John 4:16; 1 John 5:18).
